“Dr H” is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He completed his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine in 2009. He understands the anxiety and fear associated with dental appointments and works hard to make the dental experience at Val Vista Smiles as pleasant painless as possible.
Dr. H is married and has three kids. When not at the office he is usually with his wife watching kids at soccer, volleyball, or basketball. He loves being involved with the school activities, being outdoors and working on anything that has an engine with his 16yr old son.
Dr. H has a passion for detail and loves when patients are as involved with their care as he is. He has an incredible bedside manner and believes all patients deserve the best in time, quality and artistic outcomes. He truly loves being a dentist and it shows in his everyday commitment to the craft and to his patients.
Erica Adams
Registered Dental Hygienist
My name is Erica and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist that graduated from the Rio Salado Dental Hygiene Program. I am passionate about helping my patients achieve their optimal oral health with a specialized care plan.
My top priority is making my patients feel comfortable during their visit, getting to know them personally, and building long-lasting relationships. I grew up in Minnesota until my 20’s, lived in Colorado and California before finally settling in Arizona. I am married, and have a son, Cole, and 2 cats(Charlie and Gracie). I was a Certified Veterinary Technician for 22 years before going back to school to follow my other passion, dentistry! In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, watching my son play baseball and going camping in Northern Arizona. I look forward to meeting you

Front Office Coordinator
Dawn is a wife and mom of three who moved to Arizona with her family in 2017. She’s all about making memories—traveling, exploring new places, and jumping headfirst into anything that pushes her outside her comfort zone. When she’s not challenging her fears, you’ll find her behind a camera, on a hiking trail, paddle boarding, or enjoying a good old-fashioned Arizona summer storm. As for guilty pleasures? Let’s just say Dr. Pepper and Coke Zero should probably sponsor her—but she swears she brushes often.
Dawn joined Val Vista Smiles when the doors opened in December 2022, transitioning from stay-at-home mom to working mom with grit and a great attitude. Over time, she’s become the heartbeat of the office. Now serving as the Office Manager, she runs the day-to-day operations with a steady hand, a sharp mind, and the kind of reliability every dental practice wishes they had.
